Hiring for NBFC DM - Credit Product- Dealer Finance Experience: 6+ yrs Reporting to: Head Credit About the Role: We are seeking an experienced Wholesale Credit professional to lead credit underwriting and dealer financing support for an automotive captive finance business. The incumbent will be responsible for evaluating and approving credit proposals for authorized automobile dealers, supporting working capital, inventory funding, and term lending requirements. This role will work closely with Sales, Risk, and Operations teams to enable timely dealer onboarding and financing decisions, while maintaining strong credit discipline and adherence to internal policy and regulatory requirements. The position plays a critical role in balancing business growth objectives with prudent risk management within the wholesale finance portfolio. Key Responsibilities Credit Appraisal & Limit Assessment: - Evaluate credit proposals from auto dealers for inventory funding, working capital, and term loans - Perform detailed financial analysis including balance sheet review, cash flow assessment, and banking behaviour analysis - Assess dealer working capital cycles, inventory turnover, and repayment capacity - Recommend appropriate credit limits, collateral structures, and financing terms - Ensure adherence to internal credit policies including exposure norms, risk grading, and KYC guidelines Dealer Onboarding & Disbursement Support: - Act as a credit gatekeeper to support timely onboarding of dealer partners - Collaborate with Sales and Operations teams for limit set-up, renewals, and disbursement execution - Monitor limit utilization and dealer-level exposure Risk Monitoring & Portfolio Oversight: - Identify early warning signals across dealer accounts and initiate mitigation actions - Flag deviations from policy and coordinate with Risk teams on resolution plans - Support periodic portfolio reviews and dealer limit renewals Compliance & Audit Support: - Ensure credit documentation and approvals are in line with internal risk frameworks and RBI regulations - Prepare data and documentation for internal/external audits and regulatory inspections Reporting & Analytics: - Maintain MIS on proposal TAT, approval/rejection trends, and exception tracking - Support data-driven decision making through portfolio analytics - Contribute to digitization and process automation initiatives within credit underwriting Desired Candidate Profile: - MBA / PGDM in Finance or related discipline from a reputed institute 6+ years of experience in: - Auto Finance - Automotive Captive NBFC - Dealer / Wholesale Lending - SME Credit Underwriting - OEM Sales Planning / Credit Strategy - Strong understanding of dealer ecosystem within the automotive industry - Proficiency in financial statement analysis and credit memo preparation - Familiarity with credit scoring models, exposure norms, and regulatory compliance - Advanced working knowledge of MS Excel and financial ratio analysis
