Deputy Manager - Business Finance/Commercial Controller - Manufacturing Industry

Summary:

MBA/CMA/CA 6+ year's experienced commercial/financial control Deputy manager, toundertake commercial/business finance aspects and assist in financial reporting, budget, and forecastspreparation.

Qualifications and Experience:

MBA/ CMA/CA

- 4+ years (preferably in the Manufacturing industry)

- Proficiency in using computer applications (e.g. strong in Excel, handle high volume data)

- Good communication and presentation skills

Roles and Responsibilities:

1. Reporting & Data Management

- Handle large volumes of data, including downloading, formatting, and performing accurate validation of reports.

- Prepare and publish timely monthly reports for Management.

- Support month-end, year-end, and closing activities.

- Assist the LI Commercial Controller in the accurate and timely preparation of various reports as required.

- Assist in the preparation of management decks with detailed analysis.

- Assist in preparation of line of sight for the year based on monthly performance.

2. Financial Planning & Analysis

- Assist in Budgeting and Forecasting processes.

- Analyse monthly sales performance, including key business drivers.

- Perform gross margin analysis, price impact analysis, mix impact analysis and discount analysis.

- Validate special price approvals in line with policies.

- Analyse the scheme and discount proposals proposed by business teams

- Calculate and validate customer incentive programs.

3. Cross-Functional Coordination

- Coordinate with cross-functional departments as needed to gather data and ensure smooth reporting.

- Work closely with the business teams to evaluate commercial proposals

4. Tools & Technical Skills

- Demonstrate strong Excel skills and familiarity with preparing PowerPoint presentations.

- Working knowledge of Power BI (advantageous).

5. Work Ethics & Time Management

- Capable of handling high workloads and meeting tight deadlines.

- Willing to work late hours whenever required to complete critical tasks
