Job Title: Deputy Head Financial Inclusion
Position Level: Deputy Vice President (DVP)

About the Role:
We are seeking an experienced and dynamic professional for the role of Deputy Head Financial Inclusion to lead and manage the Financial Inclusion vertical at the Bank. The incumbent will play a critical role in driving government-sponsored schemes, achieving financial inclusion targets, and coordinating with regulatory bodies.
Key Responsibilities (KRAs):
- Lead the Financial Inclusion team to achieve the targets set for Government Sponsored Schemes (GSS).
- Monitor and evaluate the performance and implementation of all Government (Central & State) Sponsored Schemes.
- Ensure timely and accurate reporting to 34 State Level Bankers Committees (SLBCs) and RBI Regional Offices.
- Respond promptly and accurately to queries and ATRs raised by SLBCs and RBI on topics such as ACP (Annual Credit Plan), State-wise Credit Growth, and EC-MSMEs.
- Prepare detailed Product Notes for Government Sponsored Asset Products and oversee their implementation through various business verticals of the Bank.
- Drive continuous process improvements to enhance the effectiveness and reach of Financial Inclusion programs.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with government agencies, regulatory bodies, and business verticals to facilitate smooth scheme implementation.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory guidelines and internal policies related to Financial Inclusion.
- Lead capacity-building initiatives, training programs, and workshops to improve team capability and awareness on financial inclusion matters.
- Prepare periodic MIS reports and strategic insights for senior management.
Required Skillsets:
- Strong knowledge of Financial Inclusion policies, Government Sponsored Schemes (GSS), and regulatory frameworks (SLBC, RBI).
- In-depth understanding of ACP, EC-MSMEs, and other financial inclusion-related programs.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills for scheme monitoring and evaluation.
- Strong stakeholder management and relationship-building skills, particularly with government departments and regulatory bodies.
- Proficiency in preparing product notes, reports, and responding to regulatory queries.
- Good leadership and people management abilities.
- Strong communication skills (written and verbal) with an ability to articulate policy and program impact.
- Hands-on experience in MIS preparation, data analysis, and interpretation.
- Good knowledge of banking operations and credit processes.
Experience Required:
- Minimum 10 to 15 years of overall experience in the banking industry, with significant exposure to Financial Inclusion, Government Sponsored Schemes, and Regulatory Reporting.
- Proven track record of handling Financial Inclusion projects, preferably in a mid-to-senior management role.
