POSITION TITLE : Dy. General Manager / General Manager - Corporate Finance & Project Finance

Location : Mumbai

REPORTS TO : Senior Leadership

ROLE DESCRIPTION (POSITION SUMMARY)

The role holder will manage and optimize the organization's project finance and corporate finance functions, ensuring the alignment of financial strategies with business goals and supporting sustainable growth in the infrastructure sector

ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

1. Project Finance

- Lead the structuring, negotiation, and closing of project financing deals, including debt syndication, equity arrangements, and credit agreements.

- Collaborate with project teams to develop financial models and ensure feasibility assessments for new and ongoing projects.

- Establish relationships with financial institutions, investors, and other stakeholders to secure funding for infrastructure projects.

- Monitor compliance with financial covenants and reporting requirements of lenders and financial partners.

- Manage financial risks associated with projects and implement effective risk mitigation strategies.

2. Corporate Finance

- Develop and implement corporate financial strategies, including long-term planning and capital structure optimization.

- Oversee cash flow management, budgeting, forecasting, and working capital requirements.

- Manage investor relations and facilitate funding through bonds, private placements, and other corporate funding mechanisms.

- Ensure compliance with regulatory and statutory financial reporting requirements.

3. Strategic Leadership

- Provide financial insights and strategic recommendations to the executive leadership team for decision-making.

- Drive initiatives for cost optimization, profitability improvement, and financial efficiency across the organization.

- Build and mentor a high-performing finance team, fostering a culture of accountability and continuous improvement.

- Stay updated on market trends, financial regulations, and emerging opportunities in the infrastructure sector.

QUALIFICATION & EXPERIENCE

Qualification:

Chartered Accountant (CA), CFA, or MBA in Finance from a reputed institution.

Experience:

- 8+ years of expertise in project finance, financial modeling, and corporate finance.

- Comprehensive knowledge of infrastructure financing mechanisms, including BOT and EPC models.
