Deputy General Manager - Total Rewards
Key Responsibilities
1. Compensation Strategy & Management
- Develop and administer competitive compensation structures, salary bands, and pay programs.
- Lead annual compensation cycles including increments, promotions, and bonus planning.
- Conduct job evaluations, benchmarking, and market competitiveness studies.
- Manage variable pay programs such as incentives, sales commissions, retention bonuses, etc.
- Ensure equitable and consistent compensation practices across all functions.
2. Benefits Administration
- Design, review, and manage employee benefit programs (health insurance, wellness initiatives, leave policies, retirement programs, etc.).
- Partner with insurance providers and vendors to optimise benefits value and costs.
- Drive communication and awareness campaigns for benefits utilisation.
3. Rewards & Recognition (R&R)
- Build and manage recognition frameworks (spot awards, milestone awards, peer recognition, long-service awards).
- Partner with departments to ensure reward programs reinforce a culture of performance and appreciation.
- Continuously evaluate program impact and employee engagement.
4. Performance & Pay Alignment
- Work with HRBPs and leaders to ensure performance ratings are fairly linked to pay decisions.
- Support calibration processes and provide analytics for informed decision-making.
5. Analytics & Reporting
- Provide insights on compensation trends, internal parity, and pay equity.
- Develop dashboards and reports on salary structure utilisation, benefits uptake, turnover analytics, etc.
- Support HR leadership with data for strategic workforce planning.
6. Policy & Compliance
- Ensure adherence to statutory requirements related to compensation and benefits.
- Maintain policies for compensation, benefits, and rewards; update them as necessary.
- Support audits and ensure complete documentation.
