About the Role:

We are looking for an experienced and result-oriented Supply Chain Management professional to lead Procurement, Strategic Sourcing, Vendor Management, and Customer Coordination functions for large-scale telecom infrastructure projects.

The ideal candidate should have extensive experience in Telecom Supply Chain Management and demonstrate a strong track record in handling high-value procurement, sourcing strategies, vendor negotiations, and annual spend management. This role requires a hands-on leader who can drive cost optimization, ensure timely deliveries, and support business growth through efficient supply chain operations.

Key Responsibilities:

Procurement & Strategic Sourcing:

- Lead end-to-end procurement and sourcing activities for telecom infrastructure projects.

- Develop sourcing strategies to ensure cost-effective procurement while maintaining quality and delivery commitments.

- Manage RFQs, RFPs, vendor evaluations, commercial negotiations, and contract finalization.

- Drive procurement planning aligned with project timelines and operational requirements.

- Ensure effective procurement governance and compliance with company policies.

Vendor Management:

- Develop and maintain strategic relationships with OEMs, suppliers, contractors, and service partners.

- Identify, evaluate, onboard, and develop new vendors to strengthen the supply chain ecosystem.

- Monitor vendor performance through defined KPIs and SLAs.

- Negotiate pricing, payment terms, warranty conditions, and annual rate contracts.

- Manage AMC contracts and long-term service agreements.

Project & Customer Coordination:

- Collaborate closely with Project, Operations, Deployment, and Service Delivery teams.

- Ensure timely material availability for project execution.

- Coordinate with customers and internal stakeholders to ensure service fulfillment and project success.

- Resolve procurement and supply chain challenges proactively to avoid project delays.

Commercial & Financial Management:

- Manage annual procurement budgets and optimize procurement spend.

- Identify cost-saving opportunities through strategic sourcing and supplier consolidation.

- Conduct market analysis and benchmarking to ensure competitive pricing.

- Support management with procurement MIS, spend analysis, and forecasting.

Process Improvement:

- Drive digitization and automation of procurement processes.

- Utilize E-Bidding platforms and procurement management systems.

- Develop and implement best practices for sourcing, procurement, and vendor management.

- Improve supply chain efficiency and operational effectiveness.

Ideal Candidate Profile:

- 12+ years of experience in Supply Chain Management, Procurement, and Sourcing within the Telecom Services Industry.

- Strong experience managing large-scale procurement programs and annual procurement budgets.

- Proven expertise in sourcing telecom infrastructure equipment and services.

- Demonstrated success in vendor negotiations and strategic supplier management.

- Excellent leadership and team management capabilities.

- Strong analytical, commercial, and decision-making skills.

- Ability to work with cross-functional teams and senior stakeholders.

Educational Qualification:

- Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Supply Chain Management, Operations, or a related field.

- MBA in Supply Chain Management, Operations, or Procurement will be preferred.
