Deputy General Manager - Service Sales - Railway/Telecom Business

Key Responsibilities:

- Drive business development and sales across Railway accounts, particularly in Signalling and Telecom Solutions.

- Identify upcoming railway projects and opportunities and lead pre-RFP engagement and RFQ qualification.

- Develop Go-to-Market strategies and build strategic partnerships with relevant ecosystem players.

- Build and manage a strong sales pipeline and drive opportunities through to closure.

- Own sales, revenue, order book, margins, forecasting, and collections.

- Develop strong relationships with government stakeholders, railway authorities, consultants, EPCs, and key decision-makers.

- Drive new account penetration and strategic account development.

- Work closely with alliance partners, system integrators, and internal teams to develop winning solutions.

We're Looking For:

- 10-22 years of experience in Telecom Services Sales or Railway Business.

- Strong exposure to SI sales and government-led telecom or railway projects.

- Experience in Railway Signalling, Railway Telecom, or related railway infrastructure solutions.

- Experience working with Indian Railways, Railway PSUs, BSNL, BharatNet, State-led Telecom Projects, Data Centers, or similar government-led projects will be an advantage.

- Strong understanding of the Government Telecom and Railway ecosystem.

- Established relationships with railway/government stakeholders and key decision-makers.

- Experience in pre-RFP engagement, GTM strategy, strategic partnerships, and large project sales.

- Strong leadership, communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.

- Proficiency in CRM, Excel, and business presentations.
