Deputy General Manager - Sales - Real Estate

Description:

We are seeking a seasoned Deputy General Manager / General Manager Sales & Business Development to drive enterprise client acquisition and revenue growth. Unlike traditional leadership roles, this will be a high-impact individual contributor role, requiring strong market connects, proven enterprise deal closures, and the ability to independently build and convert a robust client pipeline.

The ideal candidate brings deep relationships with corporate real estate decision-makers, landlords, and IPCs, and has a strong track record of driving large-ticket sales in commercial interiors, real estate, or allied industries.



Enterprise Sales & Revenue Growth:

- Independently build, manage, and close a strong pipeline of enterprise accounts (MNCs, corporates, coworking operators, startups).

- Achieve and exceed revenue targets through consistent deal closures.

- Proactively identify and pursue new business opportunities across industry verticals.



Client Engagement & Relationship Building:

- Establish and nurture CXO-level relationships to unlock large-ticket mandates.

- Represent Flipspaces in pitches, presentations, and client interactions.

- Act as a trusted advisor, understanding client needs and offering value-driven solutions.



Market & Ecosystem Development:

- Leverage strong connects with IPCs (CBRE, JLL, Cushman, Knight Frank), landlords, and developers for lead generation.

- Stay updated on leasing trends, market movements, and real estate cycles to create opportunities.

- Build strategic partnerships to strengthen Flipspaces market positioning.



Internal Collaboration:

- Work closely with design, operations, and delivery teams to develop compelling proposals and presentations.

- Collaborate with leadership and strategy teams to align client acquisition with business objectives.



Ideal Candidate Profile:

- Experience: 10-15 years of experience in B2B sales/business development, with strong exposure to commercial interiors, design-build, real estate, or construction.

- Track Record: Proven ability to close multi-crore enterprise deals as an individual contributor.

- Network: Strong connects with corporate decision-makers, IPCs, and real estate ecosystem players.

- Skills: Excellent negotiation, communication, and client engagement skills.

- Mindset: Self-driven, entrepreneurial, and comfortable working in a high-ownership environment.

- Education: MBA/Engineering from reputed institutions preferred.
