Deputy General Manager - Sales - Automotive/Industrial/Engineering

Compensation:

25lpa fixed + 1% of the deal size

The Opportunity:

We are looking for an experienced and results-driven Deputy General Manager Sales to scale our company. We have grown from 10Cr to almost 50Cr in 3 years and our goal is to reach 100Cr by FY30 with the support of the DGM. The DGM will lead our B2B sales function and drive order book growth across India. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in B2B sales, proven success in achieving sales targets through a team, and the ability to establish strong sales governance and processes.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

- Experience: 10-15 years of overall sales experience with a minimum of 3 years of experience leading a sales team.

- B2B Sales: Strong experience in B2B sales with a proven track record of consistently achieving sales targets through a team.

- Industry Experience: Experience in industries such as automotive, railways, industrial, engineering, or similar B2B sectors. Defence industry experience is preferred but not mandatory.

- Team Leadership: Proven ability to manage and drive a sales team of 5+ members across multiple geographies.

- Field Sales: Strong hands-on experience in field sales and customer engagement.

- Sales Management: Strong understanding of sales planning, pipeline management, forecasting, target setting, and performance management.

- Excel: Good working knowledge of MS Excel for sales analysis, reporting, forecasting, and pricing.

- Qualification: Diploma in Electronics & Communication Engineering (ECE) or Electrical & Electronics Engineering (EEE) is mandatory.
