Bachelor's degree in Engineering/Environmental Sciences, Diploma, or equivalent in environmental science, NEBOSH Diploma, Advance Diploma in Industrial Safety

Job Purpose :

Provides strategic direction and oversight, aligned with EHS global standards for occupational health, safety, hygiene, occupation, environmental, and sustainability issues, including central, state and local regulations.

Roles and Responsibilities :

- Ability to guide the team to develop, implement, and maintain all environmental, safety and sustainability programs, policies and procedures based on leading indicators and actions.

- Establish Emergency Preparedness plan and conduct regular mock drills

- Conduct, EHS awareness trainings among all contractors and employees.

- Conduct regular EHS Inspections, Surveys and audits in sites to identify any potential hazards or safety issues and reported and follow up for close outs

- Lead/Internal Auditor in ISO 45001and ISO14001 management system

- Managing, Coordinating and close out of Internal, External audits

- Attending corporate EHS and Sustainability meetings and reporting

- Manage EHS activities and documentations

- Stay up to date with industry best practices and advancement in safety technology

- Excellent communication and leadership skills, strong knowledge of relevant EHS regulations and Standards

- Promoting and Implementing BBS Culture

- Lead safety meetings and initiatives to promote a culture of safety awareness

- Lead Incident Investigation

- Proficiency in MS Office and other safety management software
