Description:
DGM - Regulatory & Public Policy for a publicly listed company with a national presence, based at Gurgaon.
Knowledge Required:
- Prior experience dealing with Central/State Governments, DM Offices, Municipal Corporations, or regulatory bodies preferred
- Strong understanding of central, state, and district-level governance processes
- Effective stakeholder engagement and negotiation skills
- Ability to manage complex regulatory environments and multiple stakeholders
- Strong written and verbal communication skills for government interactions
Role purpose:
The DGM (Regulatory & Public Policy) will lead advocacy efforts at both the central and state levels, specifically with the DoT, the Ministry of Power (MoP), and other relevant ministries, for a infrastructure company. The primary focus of this position is to expedite statutory approvals, resolve regulatory and administrative issues, and align central and state government policies with the company's strategic and operational interests.
Key Responsibilities:
Central & State Policy Advocacy
- Support advocacy initiatives at the Central and State Government levels to facilitate business continuity and infrastructure deployment.
District-Level & Local Authority Engagement
- Advocate the companys interests at state, district, and local authority levels to resolve regulatory and operational issues.
