Deputy General Manager - Purchase - Auto Component

Job Summary:

We are looking for an experienced Strategic Purchasing professional to lead sourcing activities for new product development, supplier management, cost optimization, and procurement operations. The role involves managing supplier relationships, leading a procurement team, and collaborating with cross-functional stakeholders to ensure successful project execution and business growth.

Key Responsibilities:

- Lead strategic sourcing and supplier development initiatives.

- Manage new product sourcing and ensure timely project launches.

- Drive supplier negotiations, annual cost savings, and localization initiatives.

- Monitor supplier capacity, quality, and delivery performance.

- Prepare cost estimates for components and tooling.

- Resolve supplier-related commercial, quality, and supply issues.

- Collaborate with Engineering, Quality, Manufacturing, and Global teams.

- Lead, coach, and develop a high-performing procurement team.

Requirements:

- Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related field.

- 10+ years of experience in Strategic Sourcing, Purchasing, or Procurement within manufacturing/automotive.

- Strong negotiation, supplier management, and cost analysis skills.

- Experience in new product development, supplier development, and project management.

- Hands-on experience with plastic and metal components is preferred.

- Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and leadership skills.
