Role Summary:

- We are seeking a high-caliber Deputy General Manager (DGM) to lead our Electric Vehicle (EV) Product Line.

- This is a strategic leadership role requiring a veteran of the automotive industry with a deep technical foundation in Mechatronics and EV architecture.

- You will be responsible for the end-to-end product lifecycle, from initial design and VAVE (Value Analysis and Value Engineering) to final production and vendor development.

- The ideal candidate will bridge the gap between complex mechanical systems, such as suspension and glides, and sophisticated electronic components like ECUs and CAN bus networks.

- You will drive commercial excellence by optimizing the supply chain for critical EV components, including batteries and wiring harnesses, ensuring that our products remain competitive in a rapidly evolving market.

Responsibilities:

- EV Product Strategy: Lead the strategic roadmap for the EV product line, ensuring alignment with market trends and technological advancements in the electric mobility sector.

- Mechatronics Integration: Oversee the seamless integration of mechanical and electronic systems, specifically focusing on ECUs, wiring harnesses, and CAN communication protocols.

- VAVE Leadership: Drive Value Analysis and Value Engineering (VAVE) initiatives to optimize product cost without compromising on quality or performance.

- Component Lifecycle Management: Own the technical development and procurement strategy for core EV components, including battery packs, glides, and mechanical suspension systems.

- Vendor Development: Lead vendor development and strategic sourcing initiatives to build a resilient and cost-effective supply chain for EV-specific parts.

- Commercial Governance: Manage the commercial aspects of the product line, including budgeting, cost estimation, and lifecycle profitability analysis.

- Technical Troubleshooting: Act as the senior escalation point for complex engineering challenges related to vehicle electronics and mechanical assemblies.

- Cross-Functional Orchestration: Partner with R&D, manufacturing, and purchase departments to ensure that design specifications are feasible and cost-effective.

- Quality & Performance Standards: Establish and enforce rigorous quality standards for all product line components to ensure vehicle safety and reliability.

- Regulatory Compliance: Ensure that all EV products and components comply with domestic and international automotive standards and certifications.
