Deputy General Manager - Procurement - Manufacturing

Key Roles & Responsibilities:

1. Develop and execute procurement strategy aligned with business and manufacturing requirements.

2. Lead procurement of polymers, pigments, additives, chemicals, packaging and other raw materials.

3. Drive cost reduction, strategic sourcing and value optimization through effective negotiations.

4. Develop, evaluate and manage key domestic and international suppliers.

5. Ensure uninterrupted material availability while optimizing inventory and working capital.

6. Identify alternate suppliers and mitigate supply, quality and price risks.

7. Monitor commodity prices, market trends and develop competitive sourcing strategies.

8. Collaborate with Production, PPC, Quality, R&D, Finance and Logistics for seamless operations.

9. Establish procurement processes, controls, MIS and supplier performance metrics.

10. Lead and develop the procurement team and drive procurement excellence.
