Position Overview:
The FG Procurement Manager responsible for sourcing, negotiating, and managing the procurement of finished goods (PUMP) from vendors to ensure timely availability, cost efficiency, and quality compliance. This role plays a critical part in maintaining supply chain continuity and supporting business growth.
Key Responsibilities:
Vendor Management:
- Identify, evaluate, and onboard reliable vendor for finished goods.
- Negotiate contracts, pricing, and terms to optimize cost and service levels.
- Maintain strong vendor relationships to ensure long-term collaboration.
Procurement Operations
- Plan and execute procurement of finished goods in line with demand forecasts.
- Ensure timely delivery of goods to warehouses.
- Monitor vendor performance against KPIs (quality, delivery, cost).
Inventory & Demand Alignment:
- Collaborate with demand planning to align procurement with forecasts.
- Optimize inventory levels to balance availability and working capital.
Compliance & Documentation:
- Ensure adherence to company procurement policies and regulatory requirements.
- Maintain accurate records of purchase orders, contracts, and supplier agreements.
Cost Management & Cost Optimization:
- Conduct market analysis to benchmark pricing and identify cost-saving opportunities.
- Drive initiatives to reduce procurement costs without compromising quality.
- Good understanding of commodity purchase and import buying.
- Good understanding of Product like Pump & Solor Pump etc.
Qualifications & Skills:
- BTech/ BE , Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, or related field (MBA preferred).
- 9-12 years of experience in procurement, preferably in finished goods.
- Strong negotiation and vendor management skills.
- Knowledge of procurement systems (SAP, Ariba, web-based portal, etc.).
- Analytical mindset with ability to interpret demand and supply data.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
