
Description :
Role & responsibilities :
- Monitor compliance with purchase-related processes across business units and report exceptions to senior leadership.
- Design, document, and implement effective policies, guidelines, and SOPs for the purchasing function.
- Drive digitisation and automation of control processes actively working with IT/SAP teams to build solutions.
- Support internal and external audits; own closure of audit observations including implementation of process checks.
- Standardise control frameworks across diverse BUs under Common Services Purchasing with varying maturity levels
Preferred candidate profile :
- Big 4 consulting with embedded industrial client exposure not purely BFSI or IT sector projects.
- Automotive, tractor & construction equipment, large auto component suppliers, light/heavy engineering companies.
- Candidates who have worked in or alongside purchasing/procurement teams in an audit, compliance, or process excellence role.
- Purchasing / procurement function experience (direct exposure, not merely advisory)
- SAP proficiency specifically MM module; working with IT on solution design
