Manpower Planning and Budgeting: - Discuss manpower requirement based on annual Manufacturing Plans with the respective sectional/ functional heads for manpower planning. - Conduct annual Manpower Budgeting for the Plant and track and report monthly variance. Manpower Deployment: - Ensure optimal deployment of Manpower on a daily basis at the Plant based on Production Plans. - Track any Absenteeism/attrition and reasons thereof to take corrective action. Recruitment and Induction: - Conduct timely and cost-effective Recruitment as per Manpower plans for all levels of manpower - casuals, supervisors and Managerial levels. - Conduct and track proper induction program to all new joinees at the plant. Performance Management and Productivity: - Facilitate and follow up for KRA setting for the review year, conduct Goal Audit to review all KRAs and check for alignment with functional KRAs. - Coordinate and administer the internal PMS for employees within set timelines. - Ensure timely completion of PMS activities such as goal setting/KRAs, Mid-year Review and year-end review of Plant employees. - Drive Talent Management at Plant by identifying potential through joint evaluation by the functional Head and HR and discussing employees' career development paths with managers and succession planning at Plant Level. - Develop the productivity enhancing incentive scheme for workers and implement the same in consultation with Plant Head. IR and Employee Engagement: - Advise Plant Head on managing IR and the HR issues at Plant Level. - Define Engagement Calendar and organize various employee engagement activities resulting in increased morale and engagement levels. - Maintain harmonious employee relations in the organization. - Proactively handle all employee relations issues with workmen and staff to resolve grievances and initiate disciplinary proceedings wherever necessary. Training and Development: - Co-ordinate with Functional Managers on training and development needs of the factory to define Skill Matrix and conduct Skill assessment and Training Needs Analysis. - Prepare and Publish annual Training Calendar to cover Functional, behavioral and leadership training needs at the plant. - Organize learning and development programs as per calendar and track and monitor the impact. HR Projects/ Program Delivery: - Provide human resource services and support to Plant, Partner with functions at the factory to understand and provide appropriate HR & IR solutions; Represent Plant-level business point of view during policy and program formulation. Legal Compliance and Contract Labour Management: - Interpret and implement policies and procedures in a consistent manner to ensure compliance with all appropriate local laws and regulations. - Monitor various compliance needs on a monthly basis, provide instructions to the team. - Anticipate HR/IR issues at the factory level & provide solution to that in consultation with Plant Head. - Identify, appoint and manage Labour contractor for supplying the contractual manpower requirement based on production plans. - Maintain industrial relations in order to effectively manage the manpower pipeline at the factory. - Review contract labor management system and compliance on regular basis and report the same to Plant Manager and Head-HR. - Analyze near-by industries labour trends in order to maintain healthy industrial relations at the Plant level. Exit Management: - Conduct exit interviews meetings in case of resignations and recommend Retention action plan for all required cases. Management Reporting: - Review various documents Recruitment Tracker, Attrition Report, Absenteeism report, compliance report, legal cases and reports, IR log, learning calendar & MIS, engagement calendar etc. in order to ensure timely and accurate reporting of HR Dashboard for decision making or compliance. - Participate in Plant Review & Cost Control Meetings. - Monitor various HR metrics/KPIs and Review departmental budgets. - Administer HR internal control policies and procedures to align with corporate directions. Internal/External Audit: - Participate in meetings with Auditor and formulate responses with the management action planning. - Facilitating data for various HR and Admin audits like ISO documentations, SEDEX, internal and external audit etc. Liaison and Networking: - Interact with other industry peers, liase with local bodies & government authorities. Team Management: - Monitor a monthly basis department KRAs, discuss with each member of the work group to review progress on the yearly KRAs and document progress.
