DESIGNATION : Deputy General Manager - Payroll

JOB LOCATION : Goregaon

DEPARTMENT : Payroll


FUNCTION : Payroll Service Delivery & Transitions

CORE (ON ROLL / ON CONTRACT) : On Roll


REPORTING TO: COO

JOB DESCRIPTION:

A) FUNCTIONAL DELIVERABLES:


1. Responsible for executing and supporting end-to-end payroll processing and related customer services ensuring Payroll compliances and HR processes


2. Collaborate with HR and Finance teams to ensure accurate and timely payroll processing, Full and final settlements etc.


3. Assist in the preparation of payroll-related SOP's , documentation for audits and internal controls . To handle internal and external audits


4. Stay updated on changes in payroll laws and regulations and implement necessary changes to payroll processes.


5. Drive Payroll transitions from one Payroll system to another system


6. Payroll transition planning and execution , data migration, System testing and quality assurance and implementations


7. Monitor quality of the Payroll function, feedbacks and Continuous process improvements


8. Generate payroll reports, dashboards, and MIS for management and compliance teams

9. Payroll Accounting , reconciliation of payroll related accounts

10. Initiate Process Simplifications and use of technology to bring in process efficiency

B) TECHNICAL QUALIFICATION:


1. B.com with CA/MBA Finance or HR/M.Com

2. Minimum 15 years of hands on experience in Payroll processing, accounting and management out of which 5 years of experience in a Team Manager position ( should have handled team of over 30 team members )

3. Strong understanding of Indian payroll laws and compliances

4. Must have handled payroll for minimum of 25,000+ employees

5. Proficient with payroll tools/platforms, Microsoft Office Suite and possess a technical mindset.

6. Experienced in Payroll transitions/data migration and change management

7. Proficient in handling Payroll accounting-

8. Being UpToDate with Industry trends, Technology and latest taxation related regulations

C) EXPERIENCE RANGE:


Minimum 15 Years to Maximum 20 Years

2. Proactive approach to Problem Solving

3. Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.

4. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

5. Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
