
Role Overview:
A leading diversified business group is looking for a senior professional to drive strategic acquisitions, partnerships and alliances. The role will own the end-to-end deal lifecycle, including opportunity identification, due diligence, financial modelling, valuation, negotiations and closure. The position will work closely with senior leadership and cross-functional teams to evaluate high-value opportunities and support long-term growth and value creation.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute M&A and corporate development strategy aligned with business priorities.
- Identify acquisition, partnership, alliance and strategic investment opportunities.
- Lead end-to-end deal execution including due diligence, modelling, valuation, negotiations and closure.
- Coordinate with finance, legal, strategy, human resources and operating teams through evaluation and execution.
- Present market, competitive and opportunity insights to senior leadership.
- Manage external stakeholders including investment banks, advisors, consultants and legal teams.
Ideal Candidate Profile:
- 6 - 13 years of experience in corporate development, M&A, front-end investment banking, private equity or related fields.
- Proven experience independently driving the full M&A / transaction lifecycle.
- Strong financial modelling, valuation and strategic analysis capabilities.
- Experience working with senior leadership on high-value strategic transactions.
- Strong stakeholder management and cross-functional leadership skills.
- CA, finance/business degree; MBA or equivalent advanced qualification preferred.
