Role Overview:
- As the DGM MICE Sales, you will be at the forefront of driving our MICE (Meetings, Incentives, Conferences, and Exhibitions) business growth in the Bangalore region. Your day-to-day will involve identifying and securing new business opportunities, nurturing relationships with key corporate clients, and developing innovative sales strategies to maximize revenue.
- You will collaborate closely with internal teams, including operations, marketing, and finance, to ensure seamless execution of MICE events.
- Your efforts will directly impact our ability to deliver exceptional experiences for our clients, strengthen our market position, and achieve ambitious revenue targets.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute a comprehensive sales strategy to achieve MICE revenue targets within the Bangalore market, focusing on acquiring new corporate clients and expanding business with existing accounts.
- Identify and pursue new MICE business opportunities by proactively prospecting, networking, and building relationships with key decision-makers in corporate organizations.
- Manage and nurture relationships with key corporate accounts, acting as a trusted advisor and providing tailored MICE solutions to meet their specific needs and objectives.
- Collaborate with internal teams (operations, marketing, finance) to develop compelling proposals, presentations, and event concepts that differentiate our offerings and win new business.
- Oversee the entire sales cycle, from initial lead generation to contract negotiation and post-event follow-up, ensuring a seamless and positive client experience.
- Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and customer feedback to identify new opportunities and adapt sales strategies accordingly.
- Prepare and present regular sales reports, forecasts, and performance updates to senior management, providing insights into market dynamics and sales effectiveness.
Required Skillset:
- Demonstrated ability to develop and execute successful MICE sales strategies, driving revenue growth and exceeding targets.
- Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build rapport and influence key decision-makers at all levels of an organization.
- Proven track record in key account management and client relationship building, fostering long-term partnerships and driving repeat business.
- Strong understanding of the MICE industry, including event planning, logistics, and industry best practices.
- Excellent presentation and negotiation skills, with the ability to effectively communicate value propositions and close deals.
- Adaptable to an on-site work environment in Bangalore.
