
Deputy General Manager - Marketing
Description:
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the end-to-end marketing strategy for the oncology portfolio, including new product launches, brand building, and lifecycle management.
- Develop and execute short-term and long-term marketing plans aligned with business goals and growth objectives.
- Manage, mentor, and develop a team of product managers and marketing professionals, fostering a high-performance culture.
- Drive market insights, competitive intelligence, and customer segmentation to enhance brand positioning and market penetration.
- Collaborate closely with Sales, Medical Affairs, Regulatory, and R&D teams to ensure seamless execution of marketing initiatives.
- Monitor brand performance, sales trends, and ROI of marketing campaigns and initiatives.
- Represent the oncology marketing function in senior leadership reviews, strategy discussions, and decision-making forums.
- Ensure strict adherence to company policies, ethical standards, and regulatory guidelines.
Candidate Profile:
- Proven experience in oncology marketing with a reputed Indian or multinational pharmaceutical company.
- Currently managing or has recently managed oncology brands at a senior marketing leadership level.
- Strong experience in leading and developing marketing teams.
- Demonstrated success in new product launches, portfolio expansion, and market penetration.
- Excellent strategic thinking, leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
Qualification & Experience:
- Graduate in Pharmacy or Life Sciences (MBA preferred).
- 15+ years of overall pharmaceutical industry experience, with significant exposure to oncology marketing.
- Must be currently handling oncology brands and leading a marketing team.
