Deputy General Manager - IT

Job Description:

Key Accountabilities:

Strategy & Digital Transformation:

- Identify opportunities for digital innovation, automation, and business transformation.

- Drive adoption of Artificial Intelligence, Generative AI, Intelligent Automation, Cloud, Data Analytics, and emerging technologies.

- Evaluate and deploy LLM assistants, workflow automation, document and dossier automation, SOP digitization, and scientific computing solutions.

- Own the enterprise application landscape, including SAP ERP, LIMS, ELN, Quality Management Systems, Regulatory Systems, and collaboration platforms.

- Drive enterprise integrations, APIs, data platforms, reporting, and Business Intelligence initiatives.

Program Management:

- Partner with senior business leaders to understand strategic business objectives.

- Act as the key interface between IT and business functions.

- Lead enterprise-wide technology programs from planning through implementation.

- Drive stakeholder alignment, change management, and successful transition from legacy systems to modern digital platforms.

Infrastructure & Cybersecurity:

- Oversee IT infrastructure, cloud and hybrid environments, server architecture, networks, and end-user computing.

- Ensure high availability, business continuity, disaster recovery, and optimal system performance.

- Maintain robust cybersecurity controls to protect enterprise and research data.

- Establish IT governance frameworks, SOPs, KPIs, security policies, compliance standards, and risk management practices.
