About the role :
Our Client A largest Diversified Group has completed acquisition of a leading financial services Co and proposes to take them public within three years.
Client intends to phase out the old brand name and replace it with the client's brand name as part of its strategy to expand its financial services and insurance presence.
This position would act as a liaison between the group internal strategy team and management consulting firm to manage smooth integration.
Role & responsibilities
1). Conduct deep analysis in the focus areas, derive insights and make recommendations in line with the overall Group strategy.
2). Keep abreast of global trends, key business and regulatory updates in focus areas and track the competitive space.
3). Contribute in brainstorming and ideation sessions, bringing forth relevant ideas and insights, clearly outlining the "so what" from the same.
4). Prepare key executive level documents to showcase relevant insights and imperatives, as part of the overall Group Strategy .
5). Identify new business opportunities (both organic and inorganic)/ potential partnerships/ acquisitions and evaluate the strategic viability and fit in the existing/future planned portfolio.
6). Facilitate the high-quality execution of the Group strategy in Group Companies
Support the Group Companies in their strategy formulation and annual operating plans as required.
7). Establish and Monitor key metrics to evaluate strategic and operational performance of business entities.
Preferred candidate profile
(a). Overall 7-10 years of experience, Consulting experience preferred
(b). MBA from reputed institute
(c). Understanding in areas such as strategic corporate planning, top line growth, cost management, portfolio strategy etc.
(d). Sectoral exposure in the areas of Insurance (General and Life) and Financial Services strongly preferred
(e). Implementation/execution experience
(f). Managerial capacity to lead teams and/or projects
