About the Role:

We are looking for an experienced and dynamic professional to lead business development, product development, and market expansion activities for Plastic sheets.

The role involves identifying new applications, coordinating with fabrication and processing partners, developing finished products, obtaining customer approvals, and driving B2B business opportunities across industrial and commercial segments.

The ideal candidate should possess strong techno-commercial capabilities, product development orientation, and experience in fabricated products, material handling products, knockdown furniture, modular systems, or similar industrial applications.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Business Development & Market Expansion:

- Develop new markets and applications for plastic sheets and PP sheet-based products across industrial, commercial, institutional, and corporate segments.

- Identify and create opportunities for fabricated plastic sheet products in packaging, material handling, fabricated products, modular furniture, partitions, storage systems, industrial protection, wall cladding, sound damping and customized applications.

- Work closely with B2B customers, corporate entities, OEMs, institutional buyers, and industrial users to generate business opportunities.

- Build relationships with architects, interior companies, furniture manufacturers, industrial fabricators, and project-based customers.

2. Product Development & Application Engineering:

- Develop innovative products and end-use applications using Bubble Guard and PP sheets.

- Coordinate with external agencies, converters, fabricators, processors, and vendors for manufacturing and development of finished products.

- Work with customers for product trials, approvals, specifications, and commercialization.

- Develop customized solutions based on customer requirements and market needs.

- Support development of fabricated and knockdown products using Bubble Guard and related materials.

3. Prospective Customer Industry:

- Explore unique applications with plastic sheet for: Material Handling, Modular Furniture, DIY Furniture, Industrial Packaging, Interiors & Workspace Solutions, Storage & Logistics, Retail Fixtures, and Fabricated Industrial Products.

Desired Candidate Profile:

1. Experience:

- Around 12-18 years of relevant experience.

- Preferred age group: Around 40 years.

- Experience in business development, product development, techno-commercial roles, or application engineering.

2. Preferred Industry Background:

- Candidates from the following industries/companies would be preferred: Modular / Knockdown Furniture, Office Furniture, Material Handling Products (MHD), Plastic Sheet & Fabrication Industry, Plywood / Laminates / Panel Products/Wall panel, Industrial Packaging Solutions, Interior & Workspace Solution Companies.

3. Educational Qualification:

- Degree/Diploma in Engineering (Mechanical / Production / Polymer / Industrial / Manufacturing preferred).

- MBA in Marketing / Business Development preferred.

- Technical education combined with commercial exposure will be highly preferred.
