Deputy General Manager - Financial Costing & Analysis

Key Responsibilities:

1. Costing and Contribution Analysis:

- Lead the costing function of Farm division having multiple plants

- Lead and oversee the preparation and review of contribution workings, product costing, inventory valuation, and cost variance analysis.

- Identify cost-saving opportunities through detailed cost analysis and efficiency studies to support profitability enhancement.

- Leading finalisation of budget, monthly MIS, quarterly estimates and various scenarios

2. Investment Evaluation:

- Evaluate and appraise investment proposals, ensuring financial justification through IRR/payback analysis.

- Develop robust financial models to support decision-making related to make-or-buy analysis, process improvements, or asset acquisitions.

3. Capex Monitoring and Analysis:

- Monitor project-wise capex spend against budgets and provide timely variance analysis to ensure fiscal discipline.

- Provide insights and recommendations on capital expenditure management.

4. Compliance and Governance:

- Ensure adherence to accounting standards, tax regulations, and internal policies relating to costing and capex.

- Liaise with auditors, regulatory bodies, and internal stakeholders for cost audits, capital project reviews, and financial reporting.

4. Team Leadership and Development:

- Mentor and guide a team of 6- 8 finance professionals, fostering their technical growth and professional development.

- Promote a collaborative and results-oriented work environment.
