Ensuring accurate and timely Monthly Closing and Group reporting, completion of Statutory Audits. Lead the Financial Controls framework and monthly accounts reconciliations and related management reporting. Drive automation in reporting tools to reduce manual interventions. Act as a SME for technical opinions on accounting matters, managing zone interactions on accounting and controls. His basic responsibilities are to develop policies and procedures, ensure their implementation and monitor compliance. ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES : Operations & Planning: - Oversee the company's transaction processing systems - Drive the monthly book closure and ensure monthly financial results are stated accurately as per annual plan - Consolidation of national & all international accounts - Leading and Ensuring General Ledger and periodic Reconciliation - Provide financial and tax guidance on daily operation - Get insights through effective audit execution - Establish and implement the financial procedures and operational best practices - Participate in key decisions as a member of the executive management team - Leading and managing the company managing the end to end audits/ statutory audits. - To assist in planning and executing the yearly audit calendar through effective operational planning and coordination with business's operating teams and audit team members. - Manage the budgeting & reforecast processes, implement budget control - Monitor and direct the implementation of strategic business plans Internal Control: Compliance Procedures - A primary duty of the internal control manager is to review existing accounting and financial controls and other legal compliance processes in place and make any necessary revisions or additions. Internal Audits and Reviews - Conducting regular internal audits and reviews to assess the compliance of departments - Managing the third party vendor for driving the internal control process. - Ensuring to set up the SOP's for the organization & compliance. - Compliance check through internal & external audits. Liaison : - Liaison with Accounting and external audit procedures to ensure his company complies. - He also communicates with other governmental agencies or legal professionals with insights into changing regulations, standard compliance practices and other changes that may impact the merit of current internal control policies. Qualification and Skill Set: - Qualified Chartered Accountant - 8+ Yrs. of experience - Excellent analytical and financial modeling skills - Strong working knowledge of ERP systems and accounting software - SAP esp. in FICO; MM; SD Modules - Experience in the application of accounting principles to periodic financial reporting, planning and forecasting
