Role Overview:

- The DGM - Finance & Operations role is a pivotal leadership position responsible for overseeing and optimizing the financial health and operational efficiency of the organization.


- This role involves strategic financial planning, robust financial control, and streamlining operational processes to drive profitability and sustainable growth.


- The DGM collaborates closely with cross-functional teams, including sales, marketing, operations, and technology, to provide financial insights, support decision-making, and ensure alignment with overall business objectives.


- This role directly impacts the company's financial performance, operational effectiveness, and ultimately, its ability to deliver value to customers and stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities :

- Develop and implement financial strategies, plans, and budgets that align with the company's overall strategic goals, ensuring optimal resource allocation and financial performance.

- Lead the financial planning and analysis (FP&A) function, providing accurate and timely financial reporting, forecasting, and variance analysis to support informed decision-making by senior management.

- Oversee all aspects of financial accounting, including general ledger, accounts payable/receivable, and tax compliance, ensuring adherence to accounting standards and regulatory requirements.

- Drive operational efficiency by identifying and implementing process improvements, automation initiatives, and cost-saving measures across various departments.

- Manage the budgeting and forecasting process, working closely with department heads to develop realistic and achievable budgets, and monitoring performance against targets.

- Provide financial leadership and guidance to operational teams, supporting them in making sound financial decisions and optimizing resource utilization.

- Establish and maintain strong internal controls to safeguard company assets and ensure the integrity of financial information.

- Conduct financial risk assessments and develop mitigation strategies to minimize potential financial losses.

- Lead and mentor a team of finance professionals, fostering a culture of collaboration, accountability, and continuous improvement.

Required Skillset :

- Demonstrated ability to develop and execute financial strategies that drive business growth and profitability.

- Proven expertise in financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis.

- Strong understanding of accounting principles, financial reporting, and regulatory compliance.

- Exceptional leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and develop a high-performing team.

- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills, with the ability to effectively communicate financial information to both financial and non-financial audiences.

- Demonstrated ability to identify and implement process improvements and automation initiatives.

- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze complex financial data and provide actionable insights.

- Qualified Chartered Accountant (CA) or MBA in Finance from a reputed institution.

- Adaptable to a dynamic and fast-paced work environment.
