
We are looking for a qualified Chartered Accountant with strong experience in manufacturing finance to lead the Finance & Accounts function for a manufacturing organization based in Hyderabad. The role will be responsible for financial planning, accounting, taxation, treasury, MIS, audits, internal controls, and business finance support.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the Finance & Accounts function and ensure accurate and timely financial reporting and accounting operations.
- Oversee accounting, month-end and year-end closing, financial statements, and statutory reporting.
- Drive budgeting, forecasting, financial planning, variance analysis, and management reporting.
- Manage cash flow, working capital, banking relationships, and treasury operations.
- Oversee direct and indirect taxation, tax compliance, assessments, and related regulatory requirements.
- Establish and strengthen financial controls, accounting policies, processes, and governance frameworks.
- Lead statutory, internal, tax, and other financial audits and ensure timely closure of audit observations.
- Provide financial insights and MIS to senior management to support business and operational decision-making.
- Partner with manufacturing, procurement, supply chain, sales, and other functions to improve cost management and financial performance.
- Monitor manufacturing costs, inventory, working capital, margins, and operational finance metrics.
- Drive process improvements, automation, and strengthening of finance systems and processes.
- Ensure compliance with applicable accounting standards, Companies Act, taxation laws, and internal policies.
- Lead and mentor the finance team and manage relationships with auditors, consultants, bankers, and other external stakeholders.
Required Skills:
- CA qualification is mandatory.
- 12 - 16 years of post-qualification experience, with strong experience in manufacturing finance.
- Strong expertise across accounting, taxation, treasury, budgeting, MIS, financial reporting, audit, and financial controls.
- Strong understanding of manufacturing costing, inventory, working capital, and business finance.
- Experience in managing and leading finance teams.
- Strong analytical, commercial, stakeholder management, and decision-making skills.
- Experience in the pharmaceutical or aerospace manufacturing industry is preferred.
- Strong proficiency in ERP systems and MS Excel/MIS reporting tools.
- Excellent communication and leadership skills.
