Deputy General Manager - Finance & Accounts - CA

Role Overview

We are seeking a qualified Chartered Accountant to join as Deputy General Manager - Finance & Accounts to oversee financial operations, statutory compliance, and accounting functions within an Healthcare - sector organization. The role requires strong analytical ability, leadership skills, and hands-on experience in finance and accounts management.

Key Responsibilities :

1. Manage end-to-end finance and accounts operations, including bookkeeping and preparation of financial statements

2. Facilitate and coordinate statutory, internal, and tax audits

3. Ensure compliance with Income Tax, TDS, GST, and other statutory regulations

4. Prepare and review monthly MIS reports and financial analysis

5. Perform bank reconciliations, including reconciliation of bank interest and financial records

6. Lead billing, finance, and accounts teams and mentor junior staff

7. Support budgeting, financial planning, cost control, and financial forecasting

8. Coordinate with banks, auditors, tax authorities, vendors, and internal stakeholders

9. Maintain strong interdepartmental collaboration and ensure smooth financial processes

10.Handle financial issues with sound judgment and crisis management capability

Preferred Candidate Profile:

1. Chartered Accountant with 3-4 years post-qualification experience

2 .Experience working in the Education / University / Institutional sector preferred

3. Proven exposure to finance operations, audits, compliance, and MIS reporting
