Job Title: Deputy General Manager (DGM) - Next in Line CEO Industry: Analytical/Instrumentation Location: Gurgaon, India Work Experience: 10-20 years (Preferably with exposure in EU MNCs) Compensation: Up to - 70 LPA Reporting to: CEO Company Overview: - Our client is a well-established business in the Analytical/Instrumentation industry with a turnover exceeding - 250 Cr in their India Operations., approximately - 590 million in 2022. globally. - They are seeking a dynamic Deputy General Manager (DGM) who will play a critical role in overseeing finance and other key business functions. - The role is second-in-command to the CEO and will require strong leadership, strategic oversight, and operational excellence. Key Responsibilities: - Financial Oversight: Oversee all financial operations including budgeting, financial planning, and controlling functions. - SAP Management: Leverage knowledge of SAP to manage and optimize financial and operational processes. - Cross-functional Leadership: Lead and collaborate with various business functions beyond finance, ensuring seamless operational integration. - Strategic Planning: Assist the CEO in formulating and implementing business strategies, aligning them with the company's long-term goals. - Reporting & Analysis: Prepare detailed reports on financial performance and other key operational metrics for the executive team and stakeholders. - Compliance: Ensure adherence to corporate governance, legal and regulatory requirements. - Mentorship: Develop and mentor a high-performing team across finance and other business areas. Qualifications: Education: - Chartered Accountant (CA) - MBA (Finance/Operations) - Engineering degree with relevant financial experience in budgeting and controlling Experience: - 15-20 years of experience in a senior management role, ideally in an Analytical/Instrumentation company with exposure to EU MNC environments. - Proven expertise in financial planning, controlling, and budgeting functions. - Hands-on experience with SAP is mandatory. - Business Acumen: Strong commercial awareness and proven ability to oversee business units with a turnover of - 250 Cr or higher.
