Deputy General Manager - Direct Taxation & International Tax - CA (11-20 yrs)

Role Overview:

A qualified CA with 10+ years of direct taxation experience, preferably with Pharma, Big Conglomerates, or Manufacturing organizations. Candidates must have experience in NPV analysis of tax restructuring and possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills for managing end-to-end discussions.

Roles and responsibilities:

- Lead direct tax compliance, tax accounting, and corporate return filings with accurate reconciliations and timely law updates.

- Manage tax litigation, assessments, and appeals by preparing submissions, coordinating with advisors, and mitigating risks.

- Provide tax advisory on transactions, contracts, and withholding tax (TDS), ensuring efficient structuring and compliance.

- Oversee transfer pricing compliance, review study reports, and align global intercompany policies with Arms Length standards.

- Drive international taxation strategy, cross-border compliance, and global reporting including BEPS, Pillar Two, and CbCR.

- Support M&A and strategic projects through tax due diligence, risk evaluation, and advisory on tax-efficient structures.
