We are a Leadership Search company. We are currently looking for a DGM Urban Business Growth for one of our Leading clients in the Paint industry.

Job Location: Pune

- The company has a very high growth rate, with a pan-India presence supported by a vast network of over 20,000 dealers.

- Selling through an extensive network of retailers.

Role Purpose:

The company has a strong presence across rural and urban markets. To accelerate growth in metros and Tier-1 cities, they are seeking a senior leader who can conceptualise and execute transformative strategies to strengthen the urban presence and drive significant sales growth.
Person should have delivered big, bold initiatives in urban markets such as launching new retail formats, building innovative go-to-market models, or creating premium product lines that resulted in substantial revenue and market share growth.

Key Responsibilities:

- Develop and implement targeted city-specific sales & marketing strategies to grow retail paint sales.

- Conceptualise and roll out urban initiatives that drive brand visibility and demand generation

- Build strategic relationships with key influencers (painting contractors, architects, builders) for the brand.

- Strengthen and expand the dealer/distributor network in urban centres, ensuring high productivity and engagement.

- Analyse market trends and competitor strategies to inform product and marketing innovations.

- Lead and mentor branch managers/area managers for urban territories, building a performance-driven culture.

- Strategic vision with strong execution skills.

- Commercial acumen and data-driven decision-making.
