We're looking for an exceptional and dynamic professional to take on the role of Transmission Head - CVD with a leading Auto OEM in Pune.

Qualificationm: B.E./B.Tech - Mechanical / Automotive Engineering (Master's degree preferred)

Job Summary:

- OEM is seeking a seasoned and visionary leader to head its Transmission Systems division

- The ideal candidate will be responsible for end-to-end development, design, validation, and delivery of transmission systems for a range of automotive products, including commercial and off-highway vehicles. The role requires strategic direction, team leadership, strong technical acumen, and cross-functional collaboration to deliver robust, efficient, and market-competitive transmission systems.

- Project Execution

- Validation & Testing

- Supplier & Technology Management:

- In-depth knowledge of transmission system engineering - manual, AMT, CVT, and automatic.

Strong fundamentals in gear design, NVH, tribology, thermal analysis, and system integration.

- Proficiency in engineering tools: Creo/CATIA, AVL Cruise, Romax, KissSoft, Ansys, etc.

- Hands-on experience in DFMEA, DVP, APQP, PPAP, and other quality systems.

- Strong leadership, program management, and stakeholder communication skills.

- Experience in working with OEMs or Tier-1s in the automotive industry.

Preferred Background:

- Experience in developing transmission systems for commercial vehicles, Passenger utility vehicles.

- Exposure to electrified drivetrains or e-axles is an added advantage.
