Job Title: Lead-Accounts/Financial Controller/Deputy Financial Controller - Accounts - Operations
Role & responsibilities:
- Responsible for managing all accounts functions, monthly MIS, weekly/monthly cashflows projections and analyses.
- Preparation of budgets and variance analysis and project reports.
- Responsible for internal and external audits.
- Developing financials strategy, risk minimization plans and opportunity forecasting.
- Responsible for cost optimisation, operational excellence, meeting deadlines.
- Regulatory and tax compliance.
- Fixed assets control.
- Ensuring timely payments/receipts.
- Stakeholders management.
- Track company expenditures for fixed assets in comparison to the capital budget and management authorizations.
- Setting up and overseeing the organisations finance IT systems.
- Ensure adherence to financials laws and guidelines.
Functional skills:
- IFRS knowledge.
- ERP knowledge.
- Preferred experience in Petrochemicals/Refinery/Fertilizers/Cement/Smelting/Steel/Chemicals.
- Good knowledge on taxation and regulatory compliance.
- Financial reporting and consolidation.
- Financial analyses, forecasting and budgeting.
- Qualified Chartered Accountant/Qualified Cost Accountant.
Preferred candidate profile:
- 10 Years+ experience and qualified Chartered Accountant.
- ERP experience of minimum 6 years.
- Experience in Oil and Gas, Petrochemicals/Refinery/Fertilizers/Cement/Smelting/Steel/Chemicals (service industry not acceptable) - minimum 7 years continuous controllership experience.
- Team management - minimum team size 8 to 10 people.
- Communication skills (proficient English speaking).
- Financial reporting, consolidation, analyses, forecasting and budgeting.
- Regulatory and tax compliance.
