Job Description:

We are hiring a Deputy Finance Controller for a fast-growing D2C brand. The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing the financial health of the organization by managing accounting operations, financial reporting, budgeting, and compliance. Youll work closely with senior leadership and cross-functional teams to drive financial discipline and business growth.

Key Responsibilities:

- Lead and oversee day-to-day finance and accounting operations including general ledger, accounts payable/receivable, payroll, and taxation

- Manage monthly, quarterly, and annual closing activities ensuring accurate and timely reporting

- Develop and monitor financial controls and compliance frameworks

- Prepare and review financial statements, MIS reports, and dashboards for management

- Drive budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis in collaboration with functional heads

- Ensure statutory compliance with applicable laws (GST, Income Tax, ROC, etc.)

- Manage internal and external audits, working closely with auditors and regulatory bodies

- Optimize working capital, cost control, and cash flow management

- Support fundraising activities with due diligence, investor reporting, and financial modeling

- Implement and upgrade financial systems, automation, and ERP tools.
