Deputy Director - Policy Advocacy - Manufacturing Firm
Women candidates preferred- Will be responsible for co-designing and undertaking research projects/studies and ensure successful delivery of outcomes in a time bound manner.
- To support the Manufacturing department in research economic issues; conduct surveys and collect data; analyze data using analytical models, statistical techniques, present research results in reports, tables, and charts; interpret and forecast market trends; advise businesses, governments, and individuals on economic topics; recommend solutions to economic problems; write articles for academic journals and other media.
- Ability to strategize/ plan and ensure research agendas and report concepts
- Engage with ministries, universities, think tanks and other agencies in research assignments
- Identify agenda / initiatives for research
- Prepare discussion points / talking points for various meetings and discussion forums
- Make relevant presentations in various fora's
- Interpret issues /concerns raised by various stakeholders
- At least 1 detailed report within a year
- At least one co-authored report/publication with Government/Academia
- Work with various stakeholders to identify topics of research
- Support the department by providing relevant content, points for effective delivery
- Make crisp presentations during various committee/council/government meetings
- Understand the issues and recommend solutions to those issues
