Deputy Director - Business Development - Hospitality

About the Role:

We are seeking a Deputy Director Business Development to lead strategic client acquisition, revenue growth, and operational excellence in the catering and banqueting domain. This role demands a strong business leader with a proven track record in luxury hospitality and event management.

Key Responsibilities:

- Drive business development strategies to acquire premium clients and expand revenue streams.

- Lead end-to-end catering & banqueting business operations, from concept to execution.

- Build and nurture relationships with corporates, high-net-worth clients, event planners, and luxury venues.

- Collaborate with culinary, F&B, and operations teams to design and deliver bespoke luxury experiences.

- Take ownership of P&L, budgeting, forecasting, and cost optimization while maintaining premium service standards.

- Develop and implement sales & marketing strategies to increase brand visibility in luxury hospitality.

- Negotiate and finalize high-value contracts with senior decision-makers and stakeholders.

- Lead, mentor, and motivate cross-functional teams to deliver world-class service and client satisfaction.

- Ensure operational excellence, SOP adherence, and compliance in all projects.

- Represent the brand at industry forums, networking events, and luxury hospitality platforms.

What You Bring:

- 8+ years of experience in business development within luxury hospitality, catering, or 5-star hotel banqueting.

- Strong background in luxury event management and client relationship management.

- Proven leadership in driving large-scale, high-value business initiatives.

- Excellent communication, negotiation, and strategic networking skills.

- Solid financial and commercial acumen, with experience in P&L ownership.

- Ability to thrive in fast-paced, high-profile environments.
