Position Overview
The Dy. Chief Technology Officer will be responsible for shaping, driving, and executing the banks overall technology strategy in alignment with its business objectives. This role demands a visionary leader with a strong background in banking and financial services technology, who can lead large-scale digital transformation initiatives, ensure robust cybersecurity, and deliver innovative solutions to enhance customer experience and operational efficiency.
Key Responsibilities
Technology Strategy & Leadership
- Drive innovation in digital banking, payments, cybersecurity, and data analytics to strengthen competitive advantage.
- Lead enterprise-wide IT modernization and digital transformation initiatives.
Governance & Risk Management
- Ensure compliance with regulatory and industry standards across all technology platforms.
- Establish robust IT governance, cybersecurity frameworks, and disaster recovery/business continuity plans.
- Manage IT-related risks proactively, ensuring resilience and security of banking operations.
Operations & Infrastructure
- Oversee core banking systems, digital channels, payment systems, and enterprise infrastructure.
- Ensure high system availability, scalability, and performance to support business growth.
- Optimize IT costs and vendor management while ensuring quality and compliance.
Team Leadership & Development
- Lead, mentor, and build high-performing technology teams across IT, cybersecurity, digital banking, and data analytics.
- Foster a culture of innovation, agility, and accountability within the technology function.
Stakeholder Management
- Collaborate with business leaders to identify technology-driven opportunities for revenue growth, operational efficiency, and customer experience.
- Engage with regulators, auditors, and external stakeholders to demonstrate compliance and resilience.
Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelors degree in Engineering
- Masters degree or MBA preferred.
- Minimum 20 years of professional experience in technology leadership, with at least 10 years in senior leadership roles.
- Strong exposure to Banking and Financial Services sector with deep understanding of core banking systems, digital banking, regulatory environment, and financial technologies.
