Role Overview
We are looking for an experienced Category Manager with strong dental domain expertise and a commercial mindset to own and scale assigned dental categories. This is a hands-on, onsite role based in Chhatarpur, New Delhi, with complete ownership of category performance, vendor partnerships, and revenue growth.
Key Responsibilities
- Own assigned dental product categories end-to-end (instruments, consumables, equipment, etc.)
- Drive category growth through assortment planning, pricing strategies, and promotions
- Manage relationships with vendors, brands, and manufacturers to ensure availability and competitiveness
- Analyze category performance including sales, margins, inventory health, and P&L
- Identify new product opportunities and onboard relevant brands/products
- Collaborate with marketing, supply chain, and operations teams for smooth execution
- Build and execute category-level business plans aligned with company goals
- Ensure adherence to quality standards and regulatory requirements
Candidate Profile (Mandatory Requirements)
- Education: BDS + MBA/PGDM (Mandatory profiles without BDS will not be considered)
- Experience: 48 years in Category Management, Product Management, or Commercial roles
- Strong understanding of dental products, instruments, and consumables
- Proven experience in pricing strategy, margin optimization, and P&L ownership
- Strong analytical, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-growth, onsite environment
