As a lead position, the successful candidate will demonstrate the ability to act as a strategic business partner bringing ideas to the table where appropriate, an overall understanding of quality client service and a strong track record of academic distinction.  The role is part of the Total rewards COE and the incumbent in this role is expected to contribute in design, development and communication of various benefit programs including Insurance, leaves, retirement, well-being, Rewards & Recognition, other voluntary benefits etc, in line with our Total Rewards philosophy while ensuring legal compliance. This individual will help translate our Total Rewards philosophy through our benefits programs. These programs should be in line with the business objectives and aligned to the overall guidelines and processes of Deloitte & Touche USA LLP and its subsidiaries. The individual in this role will also be responsible for driving new initiatives, where necessary and appropriate and for communicating the overall total rewards story to our practitioners.The position will support special projects, as needed.  Illustrative Work profile:  - Own Benefit program strategy and effectiveness  Oversee benefits, perquisites, and recognition programs and rewards programs in line with the Total Rewards philosophy of the region and overall Deloitte US strategy and Indian market conditions.  Analyze the current programs, identify any changes required in program design, create proposal/business case for any new programs, inclusions/plan changes.  Determine program enhancements while driving cost benefit by liasing with the procurement team and working with the vendor for benefit rollout / renewals.  Benefits Benchmarking :   Continue to maintain knowledge of the market to provide business advisory. Build market intelligence through effective internal and external networks to track market trends and recommend improvements in reward products & processes.  Identify Surveys and participate in Benefits benchmarking studies with various data providers. Identify gap to market and work to keep Deloitte programs market competitive.  Business Advisory :   Engage with business to provide advisory from a Total Rewards perspective and act as a strategic partner with the FSS's and Service Lines as necessary, esp on employee matters.  Ensure consistency, inclusiveness and equity in the implementation of benefit programs.  Stay up to date on various market trends and statutory requirements and advise accordingly.  New benefits program conceptualization and implementation :   Responsibilities include involvement across the project lifecycle. Designing the program, socialization with key stakeholders to flesh out the proposals, anticipating risk and compliance considerations, estimating cost, seeking necessary approvals for roll out.  The person will be also responsible for project planning the launch, creating necessary content for communication, working closely with communications team, legal team, business advisory and other parties involved at each stage of plan to ensure timely roll of the program.  Be a subject matter expert and act a point of contact for multiple stakeholders on any queries related to benefits.  Benefits communications :   Create and run employee communication/education programs around various elements of our Total Rewards and sharpen / strengthen the Employee value proposition in conjunction with Business HR.  Conceptualize innovative communication modes including social media/ videos/ print and mailer campaigns to educate and emphasize on benefits value proposition for employees, prospective hires, talent and business leaders.  Identify means to leverage and showcase existing content on benefits on various platforms like intranet pages etc.  Reporting and Analytics :  Drive analytics to provide insights to business leadership and business HR Leadership about the internal/external trends and movements in benefits.  Track and analyze the utilization of various benefit programs and cost benefit analysis and come up with insights on plan effectiveness and suggestions to increase the effectiveness.  - Work closely with the US team to ensure alignment of approach and methodology where possible and for leadership analysis and reporting.  - Collaborate with Finance, OGC( legal), and other stake holders to ensure compliance on benefits.  The Team :   The Total Rewards Center of Excellence (COE seeks to deliver value through compensation and benefit strategies, programs, and solutions that align with the unique needs of our businesses and the marketplace.
