Record to Report (R2R) ( Analyst to Manager )

Job Summary:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and driven R2R professional to manage end-to-end accounting and financial reporting activities. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in general ledger accounting, month-end close processes, and financial reporting, along with a solid understanding of accounting principles.

Key Responsibilities:

- Manage and execute end-to-end R2R processes, including journal entries, accruals, and reconciliations

- Perform month-end, quarter-end, and year-end closing activities within defined timelines

- Prepare and review financial statements and reports

- Handle general ledger accounting and ensure accuracy of financial data

- Perform balance sheet reconciliations and resolve discrepancies

- Ensure compliance with accounting standards and internal policies

- Support audit activities (internal and external)

- Drive process improvements and automation initiatives

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams such as AP, AR, FP&A

- Maintain proper documentation and ensure adherence to SOX controls (if applicable)

Required Skills & Qualifications:

- Bachelor's/PG degree in Commerce, Accounting, or Finance (CA/CPA/ACCA/CMA is a plus)

- Experience in R2R / General Ledger accounting

- Strong knowledge of accounting principles (GAAP/IFRS)

- Experience with ERP systems like SAP, Oracle, or similar

- Proficiency in MS Excel and financial tools

- Good analytical and problem-solving skills

- Strong communication and stakeholder management abilities

Preferred Qualifications:

- Experience in shared services or global delivery model

- Exposure to process transitions or migrations

- Knowledge of automation tools (RPA, BlackLine, etc.)
