Description: Job Description: Director, Financial Services Lead
Location: Offshore Delivery Centre, India
We are looking for a high-energy Financial Services Lead (Director) to drive growth, delivery excellence, and AI-led transformation for our global Banking clients.
Role and Responsibilities:
A) Delivery Leadership:
- Own and grow a portfolio of Banking clients; drive revenue expansion, renewals, and executive relationships.
- Lead single or multi-tower delivery across our client base.
- Ensure governance, SLA adherence, quality, and continuous improvement.
- Drive risk management, transitions, and operational excellence.
B) Client & Internal Stakeholder Management:
- Act as primary offshore leader for global FS clients.
- Partner with onsite teams and senior stakeholders to shape delivery strategy.
- Support pursuits, solutioning, and expansion opportunities.
C) Business Ownership:
- Own revenue, cost, margins, forecasting, and financial performance for Financial Services clients within the offshore portfolio.
- Strengthen delivery-led growth through upsell/cross-sell and transformation programs.
- Optimize resource planning, utilization, and cost efficiency.
D) FS Practice & Capability Development:
- Serve as the banking domain authority across retail, commercial, lending, payments, and risk/compliance operations.
- Partner with delivery and solution teams to ensure seamless execution, regulatory compliance, and measurable impact.
- Represent the Banking practice internally and coach domain SMEs and delivery leaders.
- Run certification, training, and talent development initiatives.
- Collaborate with practice leaders on technology roadmaps and reusable accelerators.
E) Transformation & Innovation:
- Lead modernization initiatives AI/GenAI proliferation, automation, cloud migration, digital experience.
- Introduce best practices, frameworks, and delivery accelerators.
- Foster a culture of innovation and continuous improvement.
Required Skills & Experience:
- 15+ years in Banking IT/BFSI Services with strong client-facing leadership.
- Hands-on experience delivering AI-led and Agentic AI transformations for financial institutions.
- Deep understanding of banking operations, regulatory expectations, and digital transformation drivers.
- Strong executive presence, communication, and commercial acumen.
- Proven experience managing large offshore delivery portfolios (5001000+ FTE).
- Strong client-facing skills, executive presence, and stakeholder management.
- Experience with P&L ownership, forecasting, and account growth.
- People-first leadership style with high adaptability and collaboration.
Education:
- Bachelors degree in Engineering (required).
