About the Role
We are seeking a highly experienced Delivery Manager with strong functional expertise in Cards (Credit, Debit, Prepaid) within the Banking domain. The ideal candidate will be functionally strong with exposure to SaaS modules, adept at managing vendor relationships, and ensuring the seamless delivery of critical banking solutions. This role is less focused on technical depth and more on functional leadership, governance, and stakeholder management.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead delivery of projects in Cards, Prepaid, and Debit domains across banking functions.
- Oversee SaaS-based implementations and ensure alignment with banking operations.
- Manage vendor partnerships: evaluate, onboard, monitor performance, and drive accountability.
- Ensure timely delivery of projects while meeting quality, compliance, and regulatory requirements.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Operations, Technology, Compliance, and Business Units) to deliver business outcomes.
- Drive governance frameworks for project tracking, reporting, and escalation management.
- Act as the primary escalation point for functional issues and ensure resolution within agreed timelines.
- Mentor and guide teams for best practices in delivery and vendor management.
Required Skills & Experience
- 12-18 years of overall experience, with at least 8+ years in Banking (Cards/Payments/Prepaid/Debit) delivery.
- Strong functional knowledge of banking systems; technical depth is not mandatory.
- Proven track record in handling SaaS modules in the banking domain.
- Excellent vendor management and negotiation skills.
- Strong leadership, stakeholder management, and communication skills.
- Ability to handle high-pressure delivery environments with strong problem-solving skills.
Good to Have
- Exposure to Core Banking Systems (CBS) and related applications.
- Experience in handling regulatory and compliance-driven banking projects.
- PMP/Prince2/Agile certifications are an added advantage.
