Delivery Lead - Engineering & Platform

What You Will Own :

- Execution across multiple scrum teams and engineering workstreams

- Day-to-day leadership of engineering teams (developers, QA, data, AI)

- Translation of architecture and requirements into clear execution plans

- Delivery quality, timelines, and team accountability

- Alignment between design intent and implementation outcomes

Key Responsibilities :

Execution & Delivery Leadership :

- Drive execution across multiple scrum teams, ensuring clarity, momentum, and accountability

- Translate architecture and requirements into detailed execution plans and sprint priorities

- Ensure teams deliver integrated, end-to-end solutions, not isolated components

- Track and manage dependencies, risks, and delivery milestones

Engineering Leadership (Hands-On) :

- Guide engineering teams on design decisions, implementation approaches, and technical trade-offs

- Support resolution of complex technical and integration challenges

- Participate in code/design reviews where needed

- Ensure adherence to architecture, quality, and engineering standards

Team & Operating Model :

- Lead and coordinate across multiple pods (generalist, data, AI/ML)

Work closely with :

1. Developers and QA teams

2. Scrum Masters and BAs

3. External UI/UX partners

- Establish and maintain strong delivery discipline and team cadence

Alignment with Global Leadership :

Partner closely with the US Delivery Lead to :

1. Align on priorities, timelines, and delivery expectations

2. Surface risks and propose solutions proactively

Work with the Solutions Architect to :

1. Ensure implementation aligns with architecture

2. Provide feedback based on delivery realities

Quality, Performance & Continuous Improvement :

- Ensure high standards of code quality, performance, and reliability

- Drive automation-first mindset (especially QA and deployment)

- Identify opportunities to improve team efficiency, tooling, and delivery practices

What We're Looking For :

- 8-12 years experience in engineering leadership, technical delivery, or tech lead roles

- Strong experience leading engineering teams in a delivery environment

- Experience working in global delivery models (India + US preferred)

Strong technical foundation :

1. Comfortable guiding engineers and reviewing technical approaches

2. Understands systems, integrations, and architecture trade-offs

Experience delivering :

1. Cloud-based platforms (Azure preferred)

2. Integration-heavy systems

3. Data or AI-related initiatives (preferred)
