Delivery Lead - Data Engineering & Analytics

Job Description:

Required Skills & Experience:

- 15+ years of IT Delivery and Technology Services experience.

- 15+ years managing large offshore delivery organizations.

- Proven leadership of portfolios exceeding 200+ resources.

- Experience managing multimillion-dollar delivery portfolios.

- Strong Delivery Management and Program Leadership experience.

- Experience leading Data Engineering and Analytics programs.

- Strong commercial, financial and operational management capability.

- Experience managing Engineering Managers and PMO functions.

- Excellent stakeholder and executive communication skills.

- Strong people leadership and organizational management capability.

Technical Background:

- Strong experience in one or more of: Databricks Data Engineering, Data Platforms, Cloud Data Transformation Programs, Data Warehousing, Lakehouse Architectures, Azure Data Platform, Modern Data & Analytics, Data Governance, AI/ML Data Platforms.

- Ability to engage credibly with Engineering Managers, Architects and senior technical stakeholders.

Industry Experience:

- Financial Services and Banking experience highly desirable.

- Experience supporting large regulated enterprise environments.

- Understanding of governance, compliance and risk management frameworks within Financial Services.

- Experience working with large banks, insurance, wealth management or capital markets organisations preferred.
