Role Overview

We are looking for a high-ownership leader to build, scale, and own our supplier ecosystem across regions. This role carries end-to-end P&L responsibility and requires someone who has built businesses or verticals from scratch, scaled operations in new territories, and can balance strategy with hands-on execution.

You will work closely with regional leaders, product & tech teams, and enterprise clients to create a scalable, cost-efficient, and tech-enabled supplier network.

Key Responsibilities

1. Supplier Strategy & Network Expansion

- Build and execute a long-term supplier strategy in partnership with regional managers

- Expand supplier networks in new geographies and strengthen performance in existing regions

- Identify, onboard, and scale high-quality transport partners aligned with business growth plans

2. Commercials, Pricing & P&L Ownership

- Own commercials and profitability across the supplier ecosystem

- Lead pricing negotiations to improve margins and optimize cost structures

- Drive sustainable unit economics while enabling rapid growth

3. Product & Technology Collaboration

- Work closely with Product and Tech teams to build smarter tools for supplier discovery, bidding, and performance tracking

- Drive adoption of the Axle App for real-time bidding, visibility, and operational efficiency

- Act as the voice of suppliers and operations in product roadmap discussions

4. Planning & Cross-Functional Leadership

- Co-create long-term transport and capacity plans with Business, Sales, and Client teams

- Launch and scale new verticals, lanes, or regions as per business priorities

- Partner with key stakeholders to support enterprise and strategic clients

5. Performance, Process & Scale

- Track supplier performance using data and analytics; drive continuous improvements

- Build scalable, standardized, and efficient processes across regions

- Ensure operational excellence, reliability, and compliance at scale

6. Team Building & Leadership

- Build, lead, and mentor a high-performing supplier management team

- Create a strong culture of ownership, execution, and accountability.

Ideal Candidate Profile

- 10+ years of experience in P&L ownership, business leadership, operations, or supplier/partner ecosystems

- Former P&L Leaders, Business Heads, ex-Founders, or early-stage operators preferred

- Proven experience scaling businesses from 0- 1 or 1- 10, launching new verticals, or expanding into new territories

- Strong program management skills; ability to handle multiple high-impact initiatives simultaneously

- Deep commercial acumen with hands-on problem-solving ability

- Experience managing large supplier or partner networks and driving operational excellence

- Data-driven mindset; comfortable with analytics, dashboards, and tech platforms

- Excellent communication, negotiation, and people-leadership skills.
