Responsibilities: - Assessment of Demand to Fulfill Monthly /Quarterly/Seasonal Procurement Target - Procurement planning, identification of suppliers, selection of vendors, sample approval, control and delivery. - Negotiate best commercial terms for procurement while assessing the performances of vendors. - Responsible for contract management - Building and maintaining a preferred vendor network - Inventory Tracking, Movement & Liquidation; Manage Inventory cycle and Delivery TAT - Facilitate Pricing - Floor Price calculation, Market Price coordination with field teams - Ensure documentation to facilitate audits. - Maintain MIS on Price lists, Regular purchases, Supplier information, Purchase orders, etc. - Proposing cost saving opportunities by staying informed about new products and market trends. - Ensure that all procurement related risks are controlled and mitigated. - Resolving disputes and claims with vendors regarding payment terms and invoices Skills: - Data management and analysis - Good communication and negotiation skills - Quick execution - Capability to handle multiple tasks - Agri background is a plus - Collaborative - Customer focussed - Committed to continuous improvement
