Role Overview:

We are seeking a Business Analytics professional with 1 - 4 years of experience to partner with business teams and drive business planning, profitability analysis, working capital management, and business performance reporting for our International trade and Food processing operations. The role requires strong commercial acumen, analytical capabilities, and experience in export-oriented businesses.

Key Responsibilities:

Planning and Analysis:

- Prepare annual budgets, rolling forecasts, and monthly projections.

- Monitor business performance against budgets and identify key variances.

- Analyze revenue, margins, profitability, and cost drivers across products, customers, and geographies.

- Support management with business insights for strategic decision-making.

Business Partnering:

- Collaborate with Sales, Procurement, Supply Chain, and Operations teams to improve profitability.

- Evaluate pricing strategies, export margins, and customer profitability.

- Support new market entry, product launches, and commercial negotiations through analysis.

- Track export sales, foreign currency exposures, and realization cycles.

- Monitor export incentives, duty benefits, and government schemes applicable to agri exports.

- Analyze landed costs, freight costs, cold-chain expenses, and logistics profitability.

Working Capital and Cash Flow Management:

- Monitor receivables, inventory, and payables.

- Improve cash conversion cycle and optimize working capital.

- Prepare cash flow forecasts and ensure adequate liquidity for business operations.

MIS and Reporting:

- Prepare monthly business review presentations and management dashboards.

- Develop KPIs related to sales, procurement, inventory, wastage, and profitability.

- Provide actionable recommendations based on performance trends.

Controls and Compliance:

- Ensure adherence to internal controls and policies.

- Support statutory audits, internal audits, and compliance requirements.

Desired Candidate Profile:

Qualifications:

- Chartered Accountant with 1 - 3 years of experience in Business Analytics.

Preferred Experience:

- Strong exposure to budgeting, forecasting, profitability analysis, business performance management, and decision support.

- Experience in margin analysis, pricing, budgeting, and working capital management.

Skills Required:

- Strong modeling and analytical skills.

- Advanced Excel and Power BI/MIS reporting along with ERP experience in SAP.

- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.

- Ability to work in a fast-paced and seasonal business environment.
