About the Role:

A leading financial advisory platform is seeking an experienced professional to join its Debt Syndication team. The role focuses on driving debt syndication mandates, structuring financing solutions, managing lender relationships, and contributing to revenue growth. This position offers the opportunity to work in a dynamic, high-performance environment specializing in corporate finance and structured debt solutions across sectors.

Key Responsibilities:

Debt Syndication Strategy:

- Develop and execute strategies to drive growth and profitability of the debt syndication vertical.

- Identify new business opportunities and expand the client base.

Client Sourcing & Advisory:

- Identify clients with debt funding requirements.

- Advise on optimal financing structures aligned with business models and capital requirements.

Deal Structuring & Documentation:

- Prepare Credit Appraisal Notes, Information Memorandums, financial models, and other transaction-related documentation.

- Coordinate with lenders, investors, and stakeholders to ensure successful transaction closure.

Relationship Management:

- Build and maintain strong relationships with banks, non-banking financial institutions, venture capital funds, private credit funds, and other lending partners.

- Facilitate efficient fund-raising processes through relationship-driven execution.

Industry & Market Insight:

- Stay updated on industry trends, regulatory developments, and sector-specific financing requirements.

- Provide strategic inputs based on market intelligence and credit appetite.

Stressed Asset Advisory:

- Support advisory mandates related to resolution of stressed assets and restructuring opportunities.

Key Competencies & Skills:

- Strong understanding of corporate credit, project finance, structured lending, and capital markets.

- Proven ability to structure complex debt transactions and manage end-to-end deal execution.

- Strong business development orientation with revenue-generation mindset.

- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

- Ability to work in high-pressure, fast-paced environments.

- Strong stakeholder management and cross-functional collaboration skills.

- Leadership capabilities with experience in managing and mentoring teams (for AVP/VP level).

Qualifications & Experience:

Educational Qualification:

Chartered Accountant or MBA in Finance.

Experience:

- 5-10+ years of experience in loan syndication, corporate finance, structured debt, or related areas within the financial services sector.

Deal Structuring Experience:

- Demonstrated track record of successfully structuring and closing debt transactions, including handling complex financial instruments and multi-lender arrangements.
