Strategic Leadership:
- Develop and implement a strategic vision for the School of Psychology and Counseling, aligning with the universitys overall mission and goals.
Academic Excellence:
- Oversee curriculum development, academic programs, and accreditation processes to ensure high standards of teaching, learning, and student outcomes.
Faculty Development:
- Recruit, mentor, and retain a diverse and highly qualified faculty.
- Promote faculty research, scholarship, and professional development.
Research and Innovation:
- Encourage and support cutting-edge research and interdisciplinary collaboration within the fields of psychology and counseling.
- Secure funding and resources to enhance research initiatives.
Student Success:
- Foster a supportive and inclusive learning environment.
- Develop initiatives to enhance student engagement, retention, and success in both undergraduate and graduate programs.
Qualifications:
- A doctoral degree in psychology, Finance, Commerce, Economics or a related field is required.
- At least 10 years of academic experience in higher education, with a track record of leadership.
- A distinguished record of research, scholarship, and professional contributions to the field of psychology or counseling
